Kevin Woodrich

FSA, EA, MAAA, Principal Consulting Actuary

Kevin has 23 years of experience as an actuarial consultant, working primarily with public and Taft-Hartley pension plans.

His experience includes conducting annual valuations, developing alternative plan designs including hybrid plans, conducting experience studies, actuarial audits, calculating withdrawal liability, and working with the plan administrative staff to develop interactive tools and calculators.

He often speaks at annual industry conferences, including those of the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans Annual Employee Benefits Conference, the National Conference of Public Employees Retirement Systems, the Enrolled Actuaries Meeting, and the Conference of Consulting Actuaries Annual Meeting.

He served on the Society of Actuaries’ Retirement Plans Experience Committee.

Kevin is affable and an attentive listener. He works in a collegial manner with clients to help them understand and manage future risks to their plans.

He joined Cheiron in June 2003.

He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
