Kathy has more than 16 years of experience working as an actuary, primarily with multiemployer plans, public and single-employer pension plans.
Her experience includes performing annual valuations of pension and postretirement medical plans and developing annual pension expenses under FAS 87, 88, 132, and 106. She also prepares and reviews annual government filing requirements, conducts plan design studies and develops funding projections to help clients determine their contribution strategies.
Her strength is customizing P-Scan models to project pension plan expenses and conducting sensitivity testing using plan data.
She joined Cheiron in December 2010.
Kathy is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
