Sandra Matheson and Gene Kalwarski Win Society of Actuaries Retirement 20/20 Contest for Papers on Public Pension Plans
The Society of Actuaries recognized Matheson and Kalwarski's paper describing the innovative multiple-employer defined benefit risk-sharing model they created for MainePERS, and the steps the pension plan took to ensure its sustainability while lowering its investment return expectations and risk.
Matheson and Kalwarski won in the Society of Actuaries Retirement 20/20 Call for Models for Public Pension Plans contest.
